                                              What is AromatherapyAromatherapy is the use of essential oils (therapeutic plant extracts) to create balance for body, emotions and mind. It is a holistic treatment creating maintenance of health,prevention of ill health and support in any healing process and recovery.
                                              The use of unique massage techniques, combined with the therapeutic properties of essential oils, offers a powerful but gentle approach to Health.

                                              History or AromatherapyThe use of plants, plant extracts and aromatic oils can be traced back far into history. Testimonies of use of aromatic oils can be found in ancient burial grounds and tombs. In ancient texts we can find many references to healing ointments, medical oils and incenses used by medicine man and in spiritual rituals.

                                              Modern AromatherapyModern aromatherapy is considered to have started around 65 years ago, when the French chemist R. H. Gatteforssé discovered the therapeutic use of Lavender, following and accident he had in his laboratory. Suffering a burn to his hand he quickly put it into a vessel with pure lavender essential oil. He was astonished to see how quickly the burn healed and how little pain he experienced. This experience put him on the path of what became a live of research of therapeutic properties of essential oils.
                                              Today Aromatherapy is widely respected as a form of alternative medicine.

                                              One of the most powerful combinations is the application of essential oils in anAromatherapy Massage Treatment.

                                              The qualified Aroma-therapist will start any treatment and recommendation with a thorough consultation. You will be asked questions related to your medical history, chronic dis-eases, lifestyle, allergies, diet, emotional stress, exercise, and individual needs. Together with your therapist you will establish a treatment plan, relative to your needs. Essential oils will be blended for the treatment and for homecare.
                                              Following your consultation the therapist will suggest a best form of treatment for you at this point. This can be a partial or full body massage. After the treatment you will receive recommendation on your homecare and confirmation on your treatment plan.
                                              The massage techniques are designed to support the holistic therapy, encouraging and balancing the body’s natural healing functions, releasing muscular tension and stress.
