Balms and Herbs
We are happy to offer you a range of herbal balms and infusions. Please note where fresh herbs are used, they will be cultivated and harvested from our garden. It is our intention to live WITH nature. This means that we will never know how much of a harvest we will have, what will grow best in any given year and season and which plants will inspire us most. Although we will try our best to allow a consistency in our offers, we can not guaranty that nature will allow us to continue the exact formulations. The different blend of herbs may be changing from time to time, to accommodate availability and quantity available in our garden. It is our commitment to use only the best available herbs, while respecting nature.
Our hand made balms are a traditional blend of olive oil and beeswax. Olive oil is known to be a strong skin healer. We use it for the process of maceration of herbs cultivated in our garden and as a base to our blends of essential oils for therapeutic purpose.
Muscle Heat: blend of essential oils of sweet birch, camphor, eucalyptus and ginger will give the feeling of increased circulation. In Aromatherapy birch is recognized as a strong anti-inflammatory. Use this balm to relieve the feeling of sprains, cold feet, soar and tensed muscles. Apply locally and externally only. Contraindication: pregnancy
Immune Force: blend of eucalyptus, tea tree and lemon essential oil in our base of olive oil and beeswax. If applied to chest and back it will allow you to inhale the fragrance of the essential oil blend, helping you to breath easier. I use it for prevention as well as acute nasal congestion. Apply small amounts to the nostrils and around for stronger inhalation and protection of nasal passages and respiratory tract.
Recommendation for all our balms: apply regularly and frequently (3-5 times per day)
I love the soft creamy texture and the fresh fragrance. My skin feels so much better and the fine lines of dehydration disappear within a couple of days.
When I have little time, I simply apply it just before getting in the shower and wash it off right at the end. Then apply a moisturiser later.
